Dr Jon Bird

Jon is a survivor of extra-familial CSA/E by several perpetrators that occurred in different settings. He was involved in NAPAC for 23 years, for the five years up to summer 2011 he was Chair of Trustees. Then he was involved in managing survivor support service delivery, training, consultancy, and researching best practice. This included managing the NAPAC support line during the period of the revelations about Jimmy Savile when NAPAC was the main support referral service.
