Shelley Trower has an academic background with publications including Sound Writing: Voices, Authors, and Readers of Oral History (Oxford University Press, 2023). Research interests include oral history and life writing; the history of psychology; memory and trauma; libraries and the role of reading in peoples’ lives. Shelley currently combines freelance roles including as a creative writer and co-facilitator of Survivors’ Voices Researcher Community.
